Vacation Bible School
Camp David–Students entering 6th through 8th grade
Vacation Bible School (VBS) returns to First Baptist Atlanta June 9–12 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day. VBS is for kids going into kindergarten through 5th grade.
This year’s VBS will be unforgettable as we explore God’s amazing creatures and the wonder of His creation! Kids will dive into games, music, crafts, and interactive stories that show how every part of God’s world reflects His glory. At the same time, students entering 6th–8th grade can experience their own adventure at Camp David. A unique camp designed just for middle schoolers!
What to Expect
- Drinks: Kool-Aid and water offered daily
- Snacks Provided Each Day:
- Monday: Graham snacks & M&M’s
- Tuesday: Choice of Oreos or Chips Ahoy + Starbursts for everyone
- Wednesday: Rice Krispies Treats, Sour Patch Kids & Ice Cream Sandwiches
- Thursday: Choose Your Own Snack!
Allergy-friendly snacks available upon request
What to Bring
- Dress for active fun: shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes
- Optional: $12 for a VBS T-shirt (available on Monday)
- A big smile and excitement to meet lots of new friends!
Daily Schedule
- 8:15 a.m. – Registration Opens
- 8:50 a.m. – Classrooms Open
- 9:15 a.m. – Music & Worship with Senior Pastor Dr. George Featuring Beach Ball Worship and Volley in Worship every day!
- 10:00 – 11:45 a.m. – Activity Rotations
- Kids will enjoy indoor stations including: 🎲 Games • 🎈 Inflatables • 🍪 Snacks • 🎨 Crafts • 📖 Bible Time
- 11:40 a.m. – Wrap-Up & Daily Prize Giveaway!
- Noon – Pickup
Camp David (Students Entering 6th through 8th grade)
Middle schoolers have their own custom VBS track designed just for them. More challenge, more fun, and deeper conversations!
What to Expect:
- Morning Worship with the larger group
- Then head to a middle school-only environment for:
- Team challenges & games
- Engaging Bible lessons
- Real talk about faith and life
- Hangout time with friends
Safety is Our Priority
- Full Security Team on campus each morning
- On-Site Medic and Emergency Care available daily

- All volunteers are members of FBA
- Background-checked through a national screening
- Trained in childhood safety procedures
