Interested in the Pro-Life movement? FBA members have the opportunity to participate in the National Day of Mourning Saturday, August 31, where individuals take time to pause and mourn the loss of women and children affected by the act of abortion.

Those looking to get involved with other event participants can meet at the FBA West Entrance at 8 a.m. where buses and other vehicles will line up to depart for Birmingham, AL at 8:30 a.m. following a press conference.

The Saturday processional is part two of the National Day of Mourning tour. The event originates in Richmond, VA on Friday, making stops to include caravan groups in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC prior to arriving at FBA in Atlanta the next morning. The processional will conclude at 1 p.m. with a prayer rally in Birmingham, AL.

Do you feel led to work with ladies who are struggling with major challenges in their lives? Maybe you have been through something difficult that God used to give you special empathy, and a desire to show encouragement and love to women going through hardship. First Baptist Atlanta ministers to the women of My Sister’s House (MSH) – The Women and Children’s Shelter of the Atlanta Mission (AM) every first and third Sunday of the month.


4 Corners 4 Christ Street Evangelism

Hit the streets every second Saturday of the month to do the work of an evangelist. Meet at the church in the Cotillion Drive parking lot by FBA Security at 1:30 p.m. or meet in front of the Hard Rock Café on Peachtree Street and International Blvd. around 2 p.m.
