Your Service Matters

Family Ministries fosters a safe, Christ-centered environment, ensuring excellence in systems, spaces, and events to serve families and support their spiritual growth. Volunteers play a vital role in creating an atmosphere where kids and students can learn, grow, and experience God’s love. 

Note: All volunteers must pass a background check to serve in any role involving kids and students.

Preschool Ministry

Help lay a foundation of faith for our youngest members by serving in one of these key roles:

Open Volunteer Positions

  • Lobby Greeter (10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
  • Check-In Person (10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
  • Class Assistants (8:15–10:15 a.m.) – Toddlers and Twos
  • Lead Twos Teacher (8:15–10:15 a.m.)
  • Assistant Pre-K Teacher (10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
  • Childcare for Special Events (as needed)
  • Childcare for Wednesdays (During choir and orchestra practice, 6:30–9:00 p.m.)
  • Childcare for Moms Time Out (Second Thursday of the month, 9:30–11:30 a.m.)
Serve in Preschool

Special Needs Ministry

Support children and families with special needs by volunteering in one of these areas:

Open Volunteer Positions

  • Virtual Class Helpers (9:00 a.m.)
  • Class Buddies (10:30 a.m.)
  • Respite Volunteers (Second Saturday of the month, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
  • Connect Volunteers (Third Friday of the month)
Serve in Special Needs

FBA Kids Ministry

Join us in guiding children through biblical lessons, worship, and activities on Sundays.

Open Volunteer Positions

First Hour – 8:45 a.m.

  • Kindergarten–1st Grade Teaching Assistant (8:15–10:00 a.m.)
  • 2nd–3rd Grade Teaching Assistant (8:15–10:00 a.m.)
  • Kids Ministry Greeter (8:15–8:55 a.m.)
  • Kids Ministry AV Assistant (8:30–9:00 a.m.)

Second Hour – 10:30 a.m.

  • 1st Grade Teaching Assistant
  • 2nd Grade Teaching Assistant
  • Kids Ministry Greeter (10:15–10:55 a.m.)
  • Kids Ministry AV Assistant (10:30–11:00 a.m.)

Technology & Check-In Team

Help ensure a smooth and secure check-in experience for families and assist with AV needs.
