First Baptist Atlanta is excited to be the host location for the 2024 Truth In Education Summit, a catalyst in ensuring a safe learning environment for all children.
Parents have the right to know and direct their children's education. The promotion of sexual intimacy, sexual orientation, and gender fluidity are matters far exceeding the rightful boundaries of the public school system. So, too, is the indoctrination of our children into a politically driven and misleading anti-American agenda. Join us as a renowned group of speakers will share crucial information regarding this educational crisis, the dangers to our children, and how we can take action as Christians.
FEATURED SPEAKERS
RHONDA THOMAS
President | Truth In Education
Founder and President of Atlanta-based Truth In Education, a 501(c)3 organization, Rhonda Thomas exposes harmful anti-Christian trends, curriculum, and policies in our public, private, and many of our Christian schools. She advocates for parents’ rights to defend their God-given directive to guide the education and well-being of their children. Rhonda speaks nationally on the crisis in our school systems and the anti-God religion currently taught in our schools. She has been featured in the Epoch Times, CBS News, Associated Press, and other news media.
ALEX NEWMAN
Alex Newman, author of Indoctrinating Our Children to Death, will share the true purpose of education. He is an award-winning international journalist, educator, author, and speaker. He is CEO of Liberty Sentinel Media, Inc., Senior Editor of the New American magazine, and hosts nationally syndicated radio and TV programs. He currently contributes to The Epoch Times and has appeared on Fox, Newsmax, OAN, and many more. Alex has been featured in numerous education documentaries, including Fox Nation's popular, Miseducation.
REBECCA FRIEDRICHS
Unions are representing the teachers and their interests – not the children. Rebecca Friedrichs sued the National Education Association and won! A twenty-eight-year public school teacher, Rebecca was forced to fund state and national teachers' unions whose politics and divisive tactics degraded her profession, our schools, and our national character. Her lawsuit, Friedrichs v California Teachers' Association, which sought to free teachers from forced unionism, was argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2016 and blazed the trail for ending forced unionism for teachers and all government employees.
DR. ROBERT JONES
Dr. Robert Jones holds a divinity degree, is a licensed psychologist, and serves on the board of Truth In Education. He has helped hundreds of people from age five and up make positive life changes for over twenty years. His topic of dicussion will be "Mimi and Bob Go to Tallinn."
