FBA Food Drive
June 1-30 | Monday through Friday | 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
4400 N. Peachtree Road | Atlanta, GA 30338 (FBA East Entrance)
We’re on a mission to can COVID-19, which is why we’re partnering with local Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) to help alleviate the hunger crisis caused by coronavirus.
At this time, more kids, parents and seniors in our community are going hungry as a result of the ongoing pandemic. Those who were already struggling now face even greater challenges that include being fed and staying healthy. Nourishing food is the most basic need for our vulnerable neighbors. Now is the time for us to do our part!
What to Bring
Download our full list of items below. Whether you keep it on your phone or print it out to take with you to grocery store, this recommended list of essential items will be a helpful shopping guide.
Three Ways to Participate:
- A no-contact drive-thru drop-off
Once you’ve reviewed the items on our list and made your purchases, we ask that you head to the FBA East Entrance on North Peachtree Road. You will see signage directing you to the drop-off area, and we’ve included directions just in case you need extra assistance. We will provide unloading assistance for every donation.
- A local grocery delivery app that will drop off your donations at FBA
Leaving the house can be stressful during this time, but we want to make it easy on you! Using Instacart, you have the opportunity to select the grocery store of your choice and fill your cart with as many items as you’d like. Then, enter our address, choose the date and time of your delivery, and it will be delivered to FBA! Please be sure to place your order so that it arrives between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- A donation made directly to Atlanta Community Food Bank
Each dollar donated to ACFB provides enough food for four meals. If you’d rather make a donation directly to ACFB, just click here. This still allows you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others from wherever you are.
The Rest Is Done
ACFB will pick up all donated items left at FBA and transport them to their facility where they will be inspected, sorted, sanitized and distributed to partner agencies in 29 metro Atlanta and north Georgia counties. Then the agencies will provide meals and distribute groceries to families and individuals who need our help.
Thank you for helping FBA meet such vital needs right here where we live, all in the name of Jesus!
