Hospitality LinksIntroductionThe purpose of the First Baptist Church Atlanta Hospitality Ministry is to create an atmosphere of love, fellowship and excitement for everyone who enters the facility through a friendly welcome, knowledgeable information about the church and help for those who need it.
"Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." -- Romans 12:13 "Welcome one another, then, just as Christ welcomed you, in order to bring praise to God." -- Romans 15:7 MindsetThe first impression people get about our fellowship is the greeting they receive as they drive onto our property and walk into our buildings. Greeters meet people at or outside the doors of the building and Worship Center, handing out bulletins and assisting them in any way possible. If detailed information is needed, the Hospitality Ministry person (greeter, usher, etc.) will accompany the individual to the Information Desk in the Central Rotunda or the West Rotunda. The ushers serve inside the Worship Center to help everyone find a seat and to assist with additional needs that may arise. Mission StatementWe feel it is our mission to be ambassadors for Christ to ensure that all those who come to join us for Sunday worship are welcomed into God's house — after all, they have not come by accident; God has invited them. Service OpportunitiesThere are many opportunities for you to join our team and help make a lasting impression on the lives of countless others who attend First Baptist Atlanta each week!
