Welcome to Heart and Soul, the women’s ministry of First Baptist Atlanta! Are you looking for something different than the world offers you? Do you seek to know what God’s purposes are for your life as a woman? Do you desire to connect with other Christian women who have the same interests and goals as you do? Than we think that Heart and Soul is the perfect place for you. The heart of our ministry designed just for women, is weekly Bible study. It is our desire to give you opportunities to grow in your personal relationship with Christ primarily through Bible study. Each semester, we offer a variety of classes on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Special events are offered throughout the year that give you the opportunity to get plugged into our fellowship and begin developing relationships with other women. Each night has a guest speaker, wonderful music and a great dinner. Want to really grow in your personal relationship with Christ? The vision of our Encouraging Hearts mentoring ministry is to encourage women into a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip them to know and apply God’s Word in their everyday lives. You will be matched up with a mentor who will come along side of you in a one-on-one relationship of prayer and support. Women walking together for the glory of Christ is our goal. Come be a part of what God is doing here at First Baptist Atlanta. She was little D.J. Tanner in the hit TV sitcom "Full House." Come see Candace Cameron Bure all grown up. She will give us a peek into her life as a TV star and teen idol. After marrying NHL star Valeri Bure, Candace put her career on ice to stay home and devote herself to raising a "full house" of her own. Along with a powerful testimony to God's faithfulness in Candace's life, we will have a time of praise and worship with Kim Gravel of the group Beloved. Following our time in the Worship Center, we'll enjoy gourmet desserts and meet Candace personally downstairs in Faith Hall. Tickets are available just off the Central Rotunda on Sunday mornings.
