Team Preparation Takes Commitment
Joining a mission team means much more than just showing up at the airport at the appointed time. Most teams have a minimum of six team meetings to prepare for the trips. These meetings not only help to prepare the team for ministry on the field, they are also important for spiritual growth. Here the Ethiopian team met at FBA for an in-house retreat. The team got to know each other better and shared personal challenges and blessings. Please pray for the team members as they prepare for their upcoming trip.
Short-Term Missions Luncheon
Sunday, January 23, over 150 people gathered in Faith Hall for a delicious luncheon and then an opportunity to find out about the 2011 Short-Term Mission Trips (Click here for the current list. ). It was encouraging to see such enthusiasm for serving the Lord through missions. We had 89 sign up for more information, and they will be contacted regarding the individual informational meetings for these trips. Be sure to watch the Bulletin for announcements.
