Begin Tuesday, January 10 | 10 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.

James: Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore | Room 2410
Facilitators: ShaJuana Arnold 10 a.m. and Val Cater 6:30 p.m.

James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. This 8-week course will end February 28.

Book is $15 and can be purchased in the Overlook area before classes.

Lord Is It Warfare? Teach Me To Stand by Kay Arthur | Room 2430
Facilitators: Deborah Dunn 10 a.m. and Kristen Loughman 6:30 p.m.

Once you become a Christian, you enter a war zone. The problem is, you may not even realize it. But that's about to change. Lord, Is It Warfare? will equip you to recognize and understand the spiritual warfare that is inevitable for those who follow the Lord Jesus Christ. You'll learn all the battle tactics and devices of your adversary, Satan. And you'll discover scriptural ways to overcome the enemy by turning to Christ, who loves you and offers you all the strength, wisdom, and power you need for victory. This course will run during the Winter and Spring sessions.

Book is $15 and can be purchased in Overlook area before classes.
