TBS (Tuesday Bible Studies) Greeters: TBS greeters will be responsible for greeting the ladies who are participating in our Bible study classes; this will require you to arrive 30 minutes prior to classes starting. Classes are held at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. during the winter, spring, summer and fall. Clean-up crew: Is cleaning or organizing one of your talents? If so, the clean-up crew might be right up your alley. We are looking for ladies to help us clean up after TBS has ended. This will include making sure projectors and lights in the classroom are turned off, and helping clean up snacks in the morning, and snack, table, cloths and signs in the evenings. You’ll need to plan to stay an extra 30 minutes at the end of the evening class, as we are cleaning up all items that remain from the day. Teachers: We are always looking for women who are mature in their walk with Christ and have a heart and passion for teaching. Teachers are responsible for facilitating the curriculum for our classes. Some of our previous classes include “Esther” by Beth Moore; “Precept, Isaiah parts 1 and 2” by Kay Arthur; “Precept, Philippians” by Kay Arthur; “Me, Myself and Lies” by Jennifer Rothschild, “Faithful, Abundant and True” by Kay Arthur, Beth Moore and Priscilla Shirer.
Registration: Ladies who work registration are the first face that our guests see and come in contact with before our events. They will check our guests in and answer any questions they may have. This can include large events (more than 250 guests), or smaller more intimate evenings of fellowship. Greeters: Greeters welcome our guests to First Baptist Church Atlanta, hand out programs and other information needed for the event; collect information cards throughout the event, if necessary; and help with various details throughout the event. They also assist our guests in finding their way to restrooms, lunch, merchandise areas, and answer various guest questions, as needed. Merchandise/snack sales: If you’ve got the sales bug, you’ll enjoy this opportunity. The ladies that help at the merchandise/snack tables are responsible for assisting our guests with their purchases and helping our speakers and musical guests with their product tables, as well. Set up: It takes any army to setup for our events. Set-up includes dressing and setting tables, inflating balloons, placing directional signs, and cutting ribbon. Some lifting may be required, as well. Set up usually occurs the day before or morning of the event, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the latest. |
