Christian Story-telling ..... it dates back all the way to the Lord's parables. Story Time at FBA: Story time is held on Tuesday mornings for children ages 4 and 5 years throughout the year in conjunction with the Women's Ministry Bible studies. Story Time at Home: Reading aloud to children may be the most important activity leading to success in reading. Reading aloud helps your child learn new words, learn about the world, learn written language, and see the connection between spoken and written words. Parents are the child's first and most important teachers. The best time to begin reading to your child is when he or she is an infant. Babies learn about spoken language when they hear family members talking, and they learn about written language when they hear stories and see family members reading. A daily time of reading and story telling at home will help your child grow. May we suggest the following titles from the FBA Media Library:
