Volunteer Opportunities and Application

  • Do you have a willingness to accept and handle new procedures, programs, technologies?

  • Do you have the desire for continuing education?
  • Do you have a genuine interest in helping people use libraries?
  • Do you have the ability to get along with all types of people?

 

You could be a member of the library volunteers team.  Our volunteer team operates the FBA Media Library on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, handling circulation, shelving, and special projects.  It’s hard work, but oh so rewarding!

Your involvement includes one weekday morning of training, followed by two hours or more of work on your assigned day, depending upon the assignment.  This is a wonderful opportunity to welcome others of all ages and make new acquaintances.  Volunteer opportunities are open to First Baptist Church Atlanta members with library accounts in good standing and must be 16 years of age or older.
