Four Teaching Essentials to Change Lives

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”   2 Timothy 3:16-17

We are teaching the Bible not only to inform but to be transformed.

As a teacher, how can I lead God’s people to be devoted to the Bible daily?

1. Model
a. Teach with an open Bible before you.
b. The Bible is the central focus.
c. Encourage your class to read the Scriptures daily.
d. Share a few of your favorite Bible verses.
e. Share how the Bible is a part of your daily life.

2. Minister 
a. Exalt the Savior.
b. Equip the Saint.
c. Evangelize the Sinner.

3. Magnify
a. Because the Bible builds the fellowship.
b. Because the Bible brings freedom.
c. Because the Bible brings favor.
d. Because the Bible bears fruit.

4. Meditate
a. Romans 10:17
b. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
c. 2 Timothy 4:1-5
d. Hebrews 4:12

5. Mandate
a. You are a voice for God in this world.
b. God has gifted you for this ministry.
c. People’s lives will be eternally changed.
d. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer for our deepest needs.
e. God is at work, by His Spirit, through your teaching.

We are teaching the Bible not only to inform but to be transformed.
