"I just wanted to send you an e-mail to express my utmost thanks, first to God, then to First Baptist Atlanta, its Counseling Ministry, and to you for the truth. I have to admit that I really thought that the five days of counseling were going to solve all my problems and that when I was done everything would be fixed. Not the case, and I am thankful for that. It was not the quick fix I was longing for. It has turned out to be so much more. The counseling actually was the beginning of the journey. It was the jumpstart God had planned for me to discover Him in new and exciting ways. My days are no longer spent in anguish over situations and circumstances of life. Instead, I spend my days rejoicing in the peace and excitement of an intimate relationship with the Lord. The most exciting part of it is that I know it can be so much deeper than all that I know it to be right now. WOW!

I pray the Lord blesses you, the Counseling Ministry, Dr. Charles Stanley and First Baptist Atlanta. In fact, I know He will not withhold anything from you or the ministry. I tell you this, and you may not realize it, but you have discipled and prepared a man that has been set on fire, and God is about to turn me loose on the world. I know that I will always be able to look back on this time in my life and my counseling as being the beginning of the rest of my life: the life I have always felt I should live and the one God has intended me to live all along.
