36th Annual Global Missions Conference

October 14-18
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)

Matthew 28:19 is one of the most important verses found in the Bible, because it is a directive from Jesus to His disciples to spread His teachings to all the nations of the world. This is the Great Commission, which is a tenet in Christianity emphasizing ministry, missionary work and evangelism. Jesus' directive was not limited to the disciples then, nor does it apply to only pastors and missionaries today. These words apply to all believers as we are called to be ambassadors who represent the Kingdom of God to the rest of the world.

Men’s Mission Breakfast

October 17 | 9 a.m. | Lakeside Grill
Cost: Free

Please join us for this breakfast fellowship as we gather 'round and lift up these men who have dedicated their lives to full-time service for God. We will enjoy great company, good food and a special message from guest speaker, Jim Sexton, who will be sharing a message of encouragement.

Shower of Love

October 15 | 6:30 p.m. | Faith Hall
Cost: $10
Help us shower our missionary ladies with love! Join us for the Shower of Love women’s banquet, one of the highlights of the annual Global Missions Conference. Our guest speaker is Michele Rickett, founder and president of She Is Safe (SIS), an international organization that frees women and girls from the slavery of trafficking and helps them build new lives in Christ. Music will be provided by ReJoys, our own gospel missionary team who will have just returned from performing concerts in France.

Global Missions Conference Volunteers

October 14-18
Volunteers Needed! This year, nearly 50 FBA missionaries will attend our 2015 Global Missions Conference. This is an opportunity for us to serve those who have answered the call to full-time missionary work.

Operation Christmas Child

Through the simple gift of a packed shoe box, Samaritan's Purse will get the opportunity to share the Greatest Gift — Jesus Christ — with more than 9 million kids in over 105 countries this year. Be part of this global mission project by filling a shoe box with toys, school supplies and necessity items.

Each shoebox represents an opportunity to share the Gospel and follow up with a discipleship program designed to introduce children to Jesus. Through this discipleship program, called The Greatest Journey, Samaritan’s Purse equips local churches around the world with training and materials to teach children how to receive Jesus, follow Him each day, and prayerfully share their faith with others.

Please visit the Samaritan’s Purse website for information on what and what not to include in your gift donation.
