30 Days of Prayer | Day 14, Friday, October 24
“How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!’” (Romans 10:15)
Adopting an FBA Missionary
Do you want a relatively easy but vital way to serve God and spread the Gospel? Are you interested in something you can do from your own home? You can make a huge impact in the life of a missionary family by becoming a part of the Missionary Adoption Program. All of our missionaries are in great need of encouragement. Most have left relatively comfortable lives to face many difficulties, without family and friends there to support them. They need to know people care and are praying for them.
6:30-8:00 p.m. | Room 2410
Designed to help non-English speaking individuals learn conversational English. Students are placed in the level of coursework that meets their individual need. Our ultimate goal is to expose people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. ESL classes are in session from September 17, 2014, to May 13, 2015, but you can join the class at any time during the year.
Shower of Love
Thursday, November 6
6:30 p.m. | Faith Hall
Help us shower our missionary ladies with love! Join us for a time of encouragement and prayer for these servants. Tickets can be purchased at the Missions Mall for $10 between services and after the second service, October 19 and 26.
Global Missions Conference Volunteers
October 29 - November 10
Volunteers Needed! This year, nearly 70 FBA missionaries will attend our 2014 Global Missions Conference. This is an opportunity for us to serve those who have answered the call to full-time missionary work.
Faith Promise Principle and Commitment
The primary way our church directly supports world missions is through the Faith Promise. Your undesignated Faith Promise gifts are used to help support international, national and local missions through 95 individual career missionary families and various other mission projects.
